About me

My therapeutic style is empathetic, empowering, and individualized in order to meet the unique needs of each person, help reduce judgements, and discover the skills that best fit personal goals. I understand that each person may benefit from a different style of therapy, ranging from DBT to Animal Assisted Therapy, and work with each client to reach the best outcome. I believe in the strength and bravery it takes for each client to enter my office and allow me to share in their story.

I have been in the field since 2012. I have experience in substance abuse, residential services for at risk youth (ages 4-20), Foster care experience, worked with courts, guardians, CPS, and other state agencies, partial hospitalization programs for children ages 4-16, group therapy experience, individual therapy experience, psychiatric hospitalization experience, medical experience (hospital work), case management experience, and have worked with all age groups. I have been a liaison between mental health and medical agencies in Colorado. I graduated from the university of Colorado with a dual major in Studio Art and Psychology in 2009. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 with a MSW in Social Work. I have been licensed in Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Colorado, gaining my License in Clinical Social Work in 2016 after 4000 hours of work and supervision. I passed the national exam, and transferred my license to Colorado, as I continue to move back here because I love the atmosphere and lifestyle. I passed all exams expected in Colorado, and have maintained my license with no disciplinary actions. I have supervised other social workers, and pride myself on continued learning, embracing new experiences, teaching others, and passing on what i know to my clients.
